At last, we finally put up our Christmas tree this week. We are holding off because we knew as soon as the tree went up Mr.Curious would be aiming for it, and why not, all the sparkly lights are very intriguing! Soren likes to look at the lights, but thanks to baby gates he isn't able to pull on the ornaments or the whole tree for that matter.
All our Christmas gifts are wrapped and ready to be shared. I think we are done baking for the season too. Zane and I got a bit of a stomach yucky last weekend (I think it was from a restaurant we visited, but Zane thinks its a virus of some sort -I guess we will never know, but I am not going back to that restaurant again) so needless to say neither one of us has been in the mood for Christmas treats - save a few pounds I guess.
Our big plans for this very special holiday consist of a little travel and some much a waited time at home. Christmas Eve we are going to the annual Christmas party at my dad's, Christmas Day we are going to wake up, open presents, eat breakfast, and CHILL, and then the day after Christmas we are off to see Zane's parents. Sunday and Monday will be our recovery days and then back to work (this is the best part of the year at work since everyone is on holiday there really aren't many meetings and no pressing deadlines to attend to - yea!).
Any hoo...
Our family would like to wish you and your families a very Merry and very Blessed Christmas holiday and a prosperous and safe New Year!
Much love and hugs from the Pappas Home! Merry Christmas.
