Little of this and little of that all going on at once

Since my last post life has been strangely calm, busy, and sad in such a short period of time.

Our trip to Toledo was good. We spent a nice day with an old friend, toured around Toledo a bit, had dinner with another old friend, and then polished off the day at splendid art reception.

Saturday we stayed home all day, lounging in our pajamas, and take 2 naps EACH! What a grand day, especially for Zane because we did absolutely NO cleaning. Even with a day full of much appreciated rest I got a sore throat.

Sunday we were off to church, minus the sore throat, but plus a head cold-YUCK. The rest of the day was almost as relaxing, but included a trip to Trader Joe's for Panettone Bread (this is becoming a holiday favorite) and a few other odds and ends.

The sad part - While we were having dinner with our friend, my dad called to let me know that Grandma Getz passed away. Fortunately for her though she is no longer in any pain and she got to say goodbye to all her loved ones. Tomorrow we will be saying our final goodbyes at the funeral in Springfield. We love you Grandma!
