Spent 2.5 hours with the my hubby tonight - just the two of us. We went to dinner and then got ice cream - yes, I know it is only 25 degrees outside, but sometimes you have just got to go for it.
It has been a really long time since we have been out on the town just the two of us. When we pulled into the parking lot for dinner I was amazed at how many cars were there. Zane reminded me that other people really do go out on Saturday nights - AMAZING. Our dinner was very good and so was the ice cream. We got what is called the 'Study' which means 4 half scoops of ice cream in one bowl. Bourbon butter pecan, black coffee, pistachio, and cocoa zin - DELIGHTFUL.
What a blessing to go out with my hubby and remember how special we are as a team. Some times with all the hub bub you get kinda lost. Many thank yous to our dear friends Ann and Tommy for watching our little one - you really did us a big favor!
