First Trip to the Library

Soren and I ventured out to the Worthington library this weekend whle it was rainy - great time to get some more reading time in. It was an awesome experience! Not only did the have tons of board books for Mr. Butters, but the entire facility was recently renovated (I forgot about that - maybe that is way my taxes went up). They have large area for kids Soren's age complete with little seats, a fairy tale atmosphere, and relief wall structures that kids can play with. We will definitely be going back there.

In the midst of our journey, we did manage to pick out a few books for Soren's reading/playing pleasure. Let's hope that we can be good library stewards and get these back on time. Here is quick glance at what we picked up.



This weekend we will be visiting the fam in Springfield and, if it is nice, the next weekend possibly heading to the zoo (we bought a membership this year - Soren LOVES animals) or maybe to the Conservatory - they have a Blooms and Butterflies exhibit going on - the possibilities are endless. I am really looking forward to showing so many wonderful things and places to our little bit!
