Giggles Abound

Tonight was Mommy and Soren's date night. Daddy is taking an art class so every Thursday night Mr. Butters and I spend the night just the two of us (we do miss Daddy though). We read lots of books, spent a lot of time in the kitchen making baby food (Soren thinks the food processor is quite interesting and likes to taste test the delicious flavors - pears and carrots were on the order tonight), and playing Hide and Seek in the crib (Soren is in the crib and I am down on my hands and knees creepy crawling from one side of the crib to the next, laughing at him each time I make it to the other side - he LOVES it).

Fun in the Kitchen

After all our fun it was bath time. Soren has really learned how to make a good splash in the tub and thinks it is hilarious getting Mommy all wet (I am currently in the process of looking for ways to calm the splashing a bit without taking all the bath time fun away - any ideas??). Now the little Munchkin is in bed - I always miss him when he goes to sleep - he is just so much fun to be with. I remember asking my OB/GYN when I was pregnant what her favorite stage was (she had three children) and she said every stage was a joy. I do miss the ity bity baby stages, but the toddlers years are a joy - I look forward to each and every day! I guess I see her point now and I haven't even gotten to the teenage years yet.

Sleepy Bug has arrived!

What a blessing this little angel is. I am so grateful that God gave him to us!
