As I mentioned in my previous post, I am in the process of putting Soren's Easter basket together and part of that Easter basket included a bunny, handmade bunny mind you, that I bought off of Etsy. I was so excited when the bunny came yesterday, but let me just say that my excitement was not necessary shared by the man of my dreams. Let me recap for you our conversation last night.
Me: "Guess what came in the mail today?" Me running up the stairs to get the box.
Zane: (maintaining an intrigued look on his face)
Me: "Soren's bunny!"
Zane: (Changing his expression to a "that's it" look). "How much did you pay for this?"
Me: "You know, I told you the other day. $20."
Zane: "You paid $20 for a sock?"
Me: "It is not just a sock, it is a bunny that happens to be our Soren's adorable Easter present."
Zane: "What - this is so unlike you to pay $20 for this. That is two for two on bad purchases from Etsy (the first being a bow tie - which I love)."
Me: (making a pouty, sad face).
Whatever, I like the bunny. Zane even likes the bunny, he is just feeling exceptionally cheap. I think it is a great gift and great way to support a product that is not made in China.
what, no picture of said bunny? Men and women just don't see eye to eye on shopping... At least that is my experience...
