Here is my little Butters today - still my baby, but becoming a big boy too! We still sing the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" though on a regular basis.
Dear Soren,
You are such a good little boy. You love playing inside and outside. You are always finding new things to keep you busy, like the spice rack, remote controls, and cell phones. You love your blankies (that has never changed), going outside, climbing the stairs, and most of all, closing doors. You have shifted your interest in books little bit, but I think it is because you are going through a good case of the wiggles and need to get them all worked out. I still try to sneak a story or two in each day. Big bonus for Mommy and Daddy - you are learning to enjoy getting your teeth brushed even though it tickles!
Just a few days ago you decided to give strawberry slices a try again ,and, guess what, you like them! You STILL are not a fan of meat, but once in a while you decide that you like the way we fix it - we will just keep trying to meet the needs of your fickle pallet.
You love Mommy and Daddy. We are your favorite people, but you enjoy spending time with your friend Lola, and of course, your cousins and Aunt Mandy and Uncle Brian.
This summer we are excited to experiment with the swimming pool and sprinkler, bubble machine, and more trips to the zoo, farmer's markets, and hopefully a few fun road trips.
There are so many wonderful things about you, too many to capture in a blog entry. You are such a wonderful little boy and I love you with all my heart. Looking forward to another incredible 16 months.
