I just called the hubster to get an update for the day. So far things are going well - Mr. McButters is eating his lunch! Hope the rest of the day goes well for them, and of course, I hope it is a delightfully enjoyable, non-fussy evening when I get home.
On a side note, there are major perks to where I work sometimes. I just got a free 15minute consult with one of our childhood development specialists. She assured me that my child is COMPLETELY normal and told me what I should/could expect in the months to come in regards to his food behavior. I have learned that you can read and read and read, but nothing is quite like a good conversation with an experienced professional - mother or specialist! Our goal for the next couple of weeks is to learn how to stay one step ahead of this little man and come up with some creative and fun ways to nourish him. Last night we made graham cracker and peanut butter cookies for an evening snack (simply a piece of graham and nice healthy smear of peanut butter). I know - duh, but hey, we are new at this. Hummmmmm...what's next?
