Tonight was Zane's first night of work and my first night of a new schedule. Things went really well. Soren and I played for while, then we ate dinner together, and made a fun trip to our favorite store - Target. Everything in my cart was baby. Baby shampoo, baby lotion, baby wipes, baby shirt, baby cotton swabs, and of course, baby in the cart. Soren was so fun. He said 'hi' to every one and sometimes said 'hi' to non-people too. He would sing/talk really loud, laugh as other people were laughing, and just act like a good ol'ham! After a nice warm bath, we read 3 stories while he drank his milk and then it was off to bed.
Amazingly, I collected enough energy to clean the bathroom, take a shower, and then ready up the kitchen. I think my body will eventually get used to this new schedule (waking up at 6:45am and getting to work by 8:00am so that I can get off by 4:00pm so Zane can go to work). I know I sound pathetic, but one nice aspect of my the office is the flexible work schedule.
Well, I think I might eat some peanut butter toast and then head to bed so that I can do it all over again tomorrow. Night.
