It is Wednesday and I am still alive. I started my morning with about 15 kids for International Walk To School day. It was nice to be around such a fun group and breathe in the crisp morning air. I have more things to do this morning and this afternoon now that I am back in the office, but I am super excited about getting out of the office before rush hour to go home to my family.
I am praying for some nice weather so that we can get out in the yard and let Soren scream his head off. His latest phase, besides always being cute, is to scream. We are trying to explain how to use a quiet voice, but he is only 20 months old only understands that when you put your finger to your mouth and talk in a whisper it is only for fun and doesn't really mean anything. So in the meantime, Daddy and I are talking turns retrieving our nerves and our patience during this phase. Thankfully though the weather is suppose to be incredible this weekend so I foresee a lot of cloud exploring with the grass and leave under our feet. Hopefully we will make it out to the pumpkin patch for cute pictures and a pumpkin or two and if we are lucky, a nap or two for Mommy and Daddy. Did I mention that is a long weekend for me - Thank the Lord for small (well, big) blessings.
