We made our first trip to the pumpkin patch this year. It was fun, but not as fun as the apple farm. Soren was more interested in playing in the dirt and finding pet rocks (I see one of these entering our house in the near future) and Daddy kept saying "this is not a family friendly environment" because of the all the very prickly pumpkin leaves and stems that Soren could not resist touching along with the dirt and rocks. I say all that, but we did have a good time and got two
pumpkins mumkins for the very low price of $3.77 (one pie pumpkin that we will roast and one pumpkin to warm our front stoop). Here's a few pictures of our moment (next year I will have to remember to use the zoom feature more often, but that is something I often forgot and hard to do with a toddler - I just try to get a picture for the moment - must. try. harder). Enjoy.
Let's get this party started.
Yummy apple cider on a hot fall day really hits the spot.
What is that orange things - let's go see.
Smiling mama - boy, is it bright out.
Thinking about it....
This looks like it might be a good seat.
Yep, it's a good one.
