Christmas 2010

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year was such a joy! Christmas Eve night we went to the service at our church. As we sat there listening to the beautiful music being sung it started to snow. It was breathtaking. There we were sitting in the foyer with about 300 other people around a big, beautiful Christmas tree celebrating the birth of Christ and with snow. Wow!

Christmas morning was a blast. Even though Soren woke up about 2:30am, he was a dream in the morning. After a quick morning snack (pre-breakfast), we set off to opening presents. Soren did not quite understand what he was do with the gift until we peeled back a little bit of the paper so he could see something fun inside then he was ready to go. My favorite gift that he opened was his Elmo doll. He really likes Elmo, but doesn't have a lot of things with Elmo on it (Mommy and Daddy's doing I guess). When he opened the present he had the biggest smile and then gave it a big hug - SUPER SWEET! Now he sleeps with Elmo and Honkers at night - I love it! I am sure Elmo will doing a lot of traveling with us.

We enjoyed a big Christmas breakfast of pumpkin pancakes, eggs with cream cheese and chives and sausage - yummo! I love breakfast. We spent the rest of our day relaxing, napping and enjoying each others company, and playing with our toys of course. I hope your Christmas was one to cherish!

Our first attempt at using the tripod and automatic timing on the camera.
Merry Christmas!
