The other day I was cleaning out Soren's closet. It was a much needed project considering his "old" (aka - outgrown) clothes were taken over. Soren really enjoys playing in his closet so I needed to take action and make more space.
During my quest I came across a CD series by Focus on the Family that was given to me a baby shower gift. I tucked it away in my frenzy to get ready for the baby (more than 2 years ago) and completely forgot about until my closet cleaning day. What a delight! I was so excited to pop this baby into the CD player to see what it had to say about babies, raising toddlers, and being a working mom. But I held off and waited for the work week to start so I could listen to it in the car on my way to and from the office.
It has truly been a joy. The first CD I listened to focused on raising toddlers. It was more of a panel discussion, but offered a lot of reassurance from other moms that were selected to be on the show. I am now listening to Employed Mom's CD and it has been AWESOME.
I discovered a new website called - http://www.workingmom.com/. I have yet to really dig into the website, but I am really excited to see what all it has to offer, especially in today's climate. Check it out for yourself. You might find something that God has been waiting to show you!
Next on the list - Babies: The First Year! (I don't have a little baby any more, but I listening to what Dr. Dobson has to say). Hope you are having a great Monday!
