I can't believe it has been so long since I posted - life has been very busy in our household. Let's start with the good stuff!
***I got a NEW JOB!!! It feels so nice to finally be able to say it. God has a way of working things out, but holy moly, it takes a while sometimes. I am so excited. I am really excited to start a new journey with new challenges, new opportunities, and new friends. The move is bittersweet as I will miss some of my friends, but change is good and I am ready to embrace it.
***Soren is using full sentences now. It so fun to hear what he has to say and listen how he puts things together.
***Daddy had his visit away from home (aka: an overnight trip). One of his buddy's is getting married soon and you can't get married without a bachelor party so they decided to go camping in the land of the Moth Man (Point Pleasant, WV). It was an adventure, but they had fun and that is all that matters.
*** Soren and Mommy spent the weekend with family. The weather was hot, but we had a good time just hanging out.
The bad stuff is...
***Zane's great aunt has been in the hospital for a little over a week. Her condition keeps going back and forth so Zane has been spending some time at the hospital and making sure all her affairs are in order. Not really what you want to do, but rather something you have to do.
***Home improvement has really slowed down for us. I really wish we could get at least one project knocked out this summer.
***Soren is in full blown whining mode. It just kind of creeped up on us and now we are trying to nip it in the bud!
Sorry this post is more of list, but it is the best I could do. We have all been so tired, especially after this weekend, that I don't really have the concentration to do much of anything.
I am hoping to venture to a blueberry patch this week so hopefully that will be an upcoming post.
