After a laborious hunt, I think we have finally found the colors for our new littlest nursery. I raided the color swatches at Lowe's, brought them home to analyze, and thankful was back at Lowe's the next night to pick up paint samples.

At first the husband wasn't really thrilled with my choice, but he just wanted me to get a move on it so he didn't put up much of a fight (I have a feeling this was a little hard for him to do since he usually always wants a say).

Here are the colors we picked (I think I have a small obession with orange):

 Pumpkin Custard

I have to say I was kinda nervous about having an accent wall (the accent wall will be the Pumpkin Custard). Seriously, it is hard work picking two colors that you like let alone two colors that are going to go nicely together. And I was kind of wondering if accent walls were out of style, but I discovered that if done right, all things can be had! I am hoping to find some time later this week to buy the paint and get going. The walls are pretty dry so I think I will in there for a while and this time I don't have the luxury of not prepping the area. I WILL NOT get any paint on my new, beautiful carpet!! Thus I will be devoting a good amount of time to prepping and working around all the unorganized crap in the room.
