Soren enjoyed his first ever theater movie at the AMC Easton. Since he enjoyed Despicable Me 1 so much, we thought that Despicable Me 2 would be great for a first movie treat!
Getting a babysitter is not an easy feat for us, never has been, so we carefully planned our excursion so that it would work for all of us to go. Who would want to miss out on this big event? Everyone had had a bite to eat and had gone to the restroom, I had just pumped and Greyson was getting sleepy. The conditions were perfect! We got to the theater right on time, but were quickly told "Sorry, that showing is SOLD OUT!" Unbelievable!!! But there was no time to feel salty. We couldn't let our big little man down so we did what any other parents would do - we found a new show time that would mostly work, bought tickets, drove home to get a quick bite to eat again, pump again, and jump in the car to head back.
While it was a little crazy upfront, it was totally worth it. Soren was just amazed by the large screen, and a little intimidated by the sound, but overall he really enjoyed it and so did we!
