Talked to the peditrician yesterday and got Soren's test results. It looks like he does have thalassemia, but the minor version, just like daddy. Doc said there is nothing we could really do, which we already knew, but to maintain the vitamins and a healthy diet, just not to overload on iron. We go back for another blood panel at 24 months. I am so thankful to the Big Man Upstairs for blessing us. Our little man is strong and healthy. Praise the Lord!
Trying to come up with some good ideas for a birthday present for my niece - she will be 7 years old tomorrow. I cannot believe it. She used to be such a little bit! If you have any ideas please send them my way.
Nothing else really going on on our homefront - just working, taking care of babester (playing, feeding, diapering, feeding, playing, sleeping (when he feels like)), and managing the homestead. Kinda of wishing for a fast forward on this week (I usually don't try to wish my life away) because it is a little stressful with family stuff - Zane's aunt has a million and one doctor appointments and Zane has to run her back and forth all week except for Friday.
