As mentioned in my previous post I spent some time today installing my new bees. What I forgot to mention was that in order to do that I had to take a half day off work. I haven't had time off work in a while, and boy howdy, let me tell you, I enjoyed it. All three of us were in a great mood, we got a few things done on the to-do list that have been lingering there for a while, we got the bees in their new home (hopefully to stay - picture to follow), had dinner out, well actually, we just got take-out, but it was yummy, and lastly, (drum roll please) I got my new laptop. The hubs wanted to do something special for me for pumping for an entire year (actually 12 months and 3 weeks) as a way to say CONGRATULATIONS on completing (never quitting) such a large feat. He thought about getting me something a little more "romantic", but he knows how much I am enjoying creating my blog about the three us and doing little odds and ends of the computer, so he went for the practical, but the nonetheless, very thoughtful. I couldn't be happier. He did all the research, shopping, and set-up - all I had to do was start playing. What a thoughtful honey! Thanks Babe!
Looking forward to a wonderful day tomorrow. We are going to Springfield to visit my sister and do a baby-sitting exchange. The sis is going to watch my little man while the hubs and I visit a blast from the past - Yellow Springs - and then later we are going to spend the evening with my two favorite nieces while my sis and her hubs goes to a party - should be a swell time. Updates to follow.
To a blessed weekend.
