Today was a less than stellar day for me. I left the house in a bad mood, didn't really get anything done at work besides a training and answering a few emails, and then I left early to go to a doctors appointment, but when I got there was informed the doctor had to leave for an emergency (you know, a baby being born). Normally, I would just blown this off, but this is the second time this has happened two appointments in a row. The extra sucky part is that I have had to take nearly a half day off work for these two appointments - hello, paid time off does not grow on trees - some of us would like to take a real vacation and not just the haphazard few afternoons off!!!! I am just a little peeved about this!
So after stewing for about this for a little while, I decided to turn lemons into lemonade and try to make the best of it. So I rescheduled my appointment AGAIN and then filled up the pool so Soren and I could play for a while. Soren was much more interested this time, but I think having the hose spraying into the pool added to the fun.
Now it is nap time and time for Mommy to get a few things done!
