This week has been a roller coaster! Let me just say it has helped me put things into perspective a little more and remember just how sacred life is.
Recap: The hubster got a part-time job teaching at a local art school - yea! Soren's moods went on the fritz, but he is making a come back - praise the Lord. Work is work, but I did get to attend a good week long seminar on Disaster Epidemiology. A dear friend gave birth to her darling babies much earlier than expected and one went to live in heaven - my prayers have been and continue to be with her and her family.
I am so ready for this week to calm down a little bit, but am thankful at the same time. It is amazing how we tend to get so overcome by the unimportant things in life and forget how lucky we are to have our families, our health, a place to live, and clothes on our back (even if they aren't the latest brand). I hope that I can do a better job of remembering how fortunate I am to be married to the man of my dreams, have a beautiful, healthy son, and nice house to come home to after a long day at the office.
