This day helped make up for the crazy week. I got up with Soren and let Daddy sleep in - I love getting up with him - it is just so nice to get that big smile first thing in the morning! Did the morning routine until about 8:30am and then got Daddy up. By 9:00am I was on my way out the door to a luxury children's clothing resale. I love hearing about things like this - finding good deals on nice items! By 10:00am I was back home with a few deals in hand and Soren was getting ready for his morning nap (NOTE: we are in the process of going to one long nap a day, but like I said, it is a process). While Soren napped I got the house in order and packed the car to go visit my mom (Daddy was helping a friend move for the day).
Soren and I spent the entire afternoon hanging out with my mom and her husband. We ate lots of food, including homemade cherry pie and ice cream, played with the dog (big, big dog), splashed in the hose, and ran from the sprinkler - all that in between opening doors and eating snacks. I totally thought McButter Bean would have passed out in the car on the way home, but not a chance. He stayed awake the entire time in a somewhat zombie state and managed to catch a second wind when got home, but Mommy and Daddy knew he was ever so sleepy and put him to bed at 8:30pm - we haven't heard one peep!
Looking forward to a good day tomorrow and praying for a great week for us, our friends, and our family.
