Soren woke up this morning pretty late - 8:22am - which is pretty unusual for him. After he got up, I changed him as usual, but he was a little whiny when I bump or brush against his legs. What was the most surprising was when I put him down so I could get his bottle ready - he would not move! He just stood there. Everywhere we moved him, he would just stay there. We figured everything must be related to the vaccinations he got yesterday, but seriously, must they cause him so much tenderness!! Daddy gave him a dose of Tylenol and put some cool wash clothes on his legs. This must have helped because he is now moving around again. Thank heavens.
I really appreciate the development of vaccinations, especially being that I am in public health and all, but come on, can't we put all these vaccines in a pill or liquid form and skip the needles? I know, so things are just the way they are, but it really stinks when your little one is feeling so yucky.
