What a night! I had dinner with Daddy while Soren watch his favorite Baby Einstein "movie" and ever so slowly woke up from his nap. It is better to let him do it his way since we had the time as it allows for a nicer evening for everyone. Daddy left for work and then Soren and I ate dinner together (I had a very small portion of his dinner so he would not feel alone since I already ate my big people meal with Daddy). After dinner we played in the basement, did some laundry, and he discovered some "new" toys. I say "new" because my sister taught me it helps to rotate the toys by hiding them and then bringing them back out a couple months later - works great.
I have sort of being dying to go to Target so even though it was 7:30pm we made a mad dash for this money-sucking cave. It was ever so important to get a new coloring book and paint book for my little darling - priorities ladies, priorites. I think it filled my need.
Then....(drum roll please)...Soren drank his milk without his bouncy seat. The hubs and I don't really see a problem with Soren still using his bouncy seat - we call it his chair - except that he is getting a little too tall for it. I think I am going to keep going with this and see if we can slowly get rid of it and then maybe Santa will bring him a big boy chair for Christmas. This part really made my night if you can't tell!
Well, I am off to go do some more laundry and cut out some cute designs for Soren's project. Good night.
