Okay, so yesterday my heart was ready to explode from the absolute adorableness of my son. Today, not so much. While my little bean is still the most precious thing on the planet, he was not at his best today. Daddy was more than ready to leave for work after a nutty day with little bit. I am not quite sure what happened in their day that made it crazy, but I sure now what happened in mine.
In a nut shell it all was because Soren did not have his listening ears on quite right. We were leaving the house to go to the mall, Soren thought it would be more fun to play in the yard when we were clearly trying to get loaded in the car. The non-listening highlight was when we were getting ready to check out at a store after finding a great deal on some summer shorts and Soren decided to bolt out of the store and start running. I caught up with him two stores down. Mommy was not happy. I have to say I was that lady tonight yelling at my child as he was running away, throwing all the purchases down, and then wrangling my child in the middle of the mall.
Despite the craziness and all the wiggles, bath night was a success and bedtime was very pleasant.
Hummmmm...what will tomorrow bring?
