So it has come to our attention that our house needs some attention, actually, make that our paper piles need attention. Things were getting so hairy that Zane (my husband) informed me that even he can't take it anymore and something needs to happen. As a result, this weekend was deemed "clean" weekend. I actually got started a few days ago going through various small piles (you know the kind, coupons, old, but paid bills, coloring books, toddler chicken scatches that you just can't bear to throw away because you are so proud, but being so proud is all over your house).
But being the person I am, I couldn't just keep to the piles. I decided that since it was "game on" at our house, the curtains needed to be washed, little spots on the wall needed to be cleaned, flowers needed to be planted, the bathroom disinfected, on and on and on. As of Saturday late afternoon, we are mostly done, but I still have to finish vacuuming after Little Bit wakes up, take out the trash, shred some papers, and possibly do some laundry. Oh, and I can't forget to make dinner and to finish painting a few doors tonight. Sheesh - I am getting tired just thinking about all this.
We should do something fun tomorrow!
