Anyhoo, we had a really good time this Halloween. We got an early start by making a quick decision to go visit my family and do a little trick-or-treating with them. It was so fun. All the kids were dressed up in their Halloween best. We had a super cute bat, a heroic Super Woman, a princess, and a roaring dragon. Let's not forget that Halloween can be for big kids too. Mommy was a black cat, Mamaw was a flapper, Papaw was a gangster with a flapper wife, and Aunt Mandy was a postal carrier.
Soren loved going house to house to get his treats. He loved his dragon costume too, but only for a little while and then it was off with the head. Sorry, no pictures from this visit. We were way too busy having fun and too crazed to remember the camera.
Our second Halloween was spent with friends. Mommy came home 2 hours early to beat the traffic and be sure we got to our friends house on time. We still ended up being in a rush trying to eat, drive, and get Soren's costume on, but it was still fun. Daddy could only go to one house because he had to work, but I don't really think Soren needed us with him at all. He had this one down. There was so much running to do, door bells to push, and candy to gather that he did not have time to socialize. Here are a few pictures. Enjoy!
