Christmas for Our Family

December is such a busy month - so much sharing, so much baking, and so much good cheer.

Our little boy, Soren, is nearly three years old (wow, that is hard to say), but we are still experiencing many firsts. We made homemade sugar cookies with icing, put up the Christmas tree with an extra set of hands, and rejoiced loudly during the Christmas paegant at church.

We listened to Christmas music for days on end, drove aimlessly to look at Christmas lights, had a very impromptu visit with Santa at Graeter's ice cream shop on a quiet Friday afternoon, enjoyed a couple unexpected afternoons off work, and managed to squeeze in a visit to the zoo for Wildlights just before the year ended. Not to mention lots of time spent with family and friends to celebrate the special birth of our Savior.

We closed this year with a special red bow on a new house. The three of us are all so excited for the new chapters that lie ahead and a new home to share them in.

Happy New Year to you and yours!
