Monday night Daddy had to work so it was just me and my little bit. Unlike most nights that Daddy is at work, I actually had a small list of things I wanted to accomplish. Prescription pick up, buy a shipping envelope and get a gift card. Soren, being the travel bug that he is, was more than happy to come along (not that I had a choice to leave him at home and nor did I want to). So we headed out and completed our small list of errands.
After we were done, Soren begged to go for a ride because, after all, it was too early to go home. I obliged him and off we went. When ride time was nearly over I told him we had to go home and take a bath and then have a snack. I usually like to give him a heads up on what is up next. He was excited because bath time = "swim" time! A few miles before we reached the house, I unknowly started to hum to a song that was softly playing on the radio. When I looked in the rearview mirror Soren was smiling from ear to ear and humming too.
I kept up my little hum after we parked the car and got him out of seat and Soren kept humming as well. He looked so pleased with himself and so happy to be doing what Mommy was doing.
I love this little guy. He is so joyful.
