First Day of Preschool

Today was a big day! Soren had his first day at preschool.

It was time to rise and shine about 7:30am. The first words out of Soren's mouth was "Can I please go to school today?". He was so excited and in the best mood. After a quick trip to the potty, he was ready to get dressed. After I finished getting dressed, we headed downstairs to make breakfast - pancakes and sausage - his favorite. A delicious breakfast is always a great way to start off the day. Right before I had to scoot off to work, we snapped a few pictures outside on the porch to visually mark this special day. He was complete with his new back pack and light up shoes. Did I mention that he was so excited?

School didn't start until 10:00am (it was a half day for him), so Soren and Daddy putzed around the house until it was time. Mommy was at work watching the clock and waiting to get a play-by-play of the big drop off. At 10:16am I called and got the low down. Everything went smoothly. Zane said at one point he looked a little scared, but that didn't last long and he was off to play with a puzzle.

Pick up was at 11:15am. Daddy got in the kiddo pick up line with success. So far Soren has only mentioned something about circle time and the playground. I bet there was more to the story.
