Praise the Lord!! We have an official dining room table now that fits beautifully in our new home. My father-in-law graciously gave us the table from his home. I love it because it is not perfect (don't have to worry about the first scratch) and it only has 5 gorgeous chairs. I am pretty sure it cherry and at least 60 years or more old. I have big plans to re-cover the seats and can't wait to add a centerpiece. We are really excited! I will try to get a picture soon - I suck at pictures.
For months and months, Zane and I have talked about the dining room table and a pretty rug to go under it. Well, now we have it. I can't wait to the add the other pieces in this special room, but for now I am so super happy about the table and the rug with the 5 chairs. PERFECT!!
p.s. Can't wait for our first Thanksgiving feast!!!
