The past couple weeks have been a flurry. My husband and I, and Soren too, have been working ever so diligently to ready our home for Thanksgiving. It is our first one to celebrate with so many people and we are so excited. While the work has been abundant, the time spent with my best friend and my favorite littles has been a blessing (yes, I say littles because my baby bean has made himself known stretching out my ligaments).
Finding ways to get it all done (I honestly don't think that will ever happen) is a challenge, but it is kinda all about "you give a little and I'll give a little". My husband spent lots of time finishing our floor and I spent time with Soren making my to-do list a game. I needed to do a lot of vacuuming, upholestry cleaning, and organizing, so Soren "helped" or played a game or puzzle at my side. Thankfully there wasn't too much television involved as he would rather be with us any way. It is so nice to know that things that need to be done can be done and we can do it together. All you need is a little patience (okay, a lot of patience) and a creative mind.
What a great, productive weekend it was!
