The Good and the Bad

Ever have one of those weekends were you thought you had everything planned accordingly and then nothing turned out like you thought - that was our weekend.

Saturday....

SPANISH CLASS FOILED BY EXTRA SLOW MECHANIC.

FOILED SPANISH CLASS LED US TO STARBUCKS AND A MORNING AT THE ZOO.

GOOD ZOO TRIP + ANNOYING MECHANIC REPORT = FRUSTRATION AND A NEED FOR LUNCH.

LUNCH WITH GROUPON FOLLOWED BY SUPER ANNOYING TRAFFIC BECAUSE OF STORE OPENING RESULTED IN SUPER FRUSTRATED FAMILY, BUT WITH FULL TUMMIES.

A TRIP HOME FOLLOWED BY NAPS EQUALLED A HAPPIER FAMILY, BUT STILL A LITTLE FRUMPY WITH THE TIME CHANGE.

Sunday...

PLEASANT MORNING FOLLOWED BY A GREAT CHURCH SERVICE.

AFTER CHURCH LUNCH IN THE CAR TO MAKE AN AFTERNOON TRIP TO THE ART MUSEUM.

ENJOYED A FEW NICE GALLERIES OF MARK ROTHKO (ONE OF MY FAVORITES), 30 MINUTES IN ART PLAY AREA, AND A TRIP TO AN EXQUISITE BAKERY FOR TREATS!!!

A much better day for our whole family and no frustration. Even managed to clean the flower beds, visit with neighbors, and eat a homemade dinner together!
