After work today I went to Delaware and had dinner with several of my colleagues and then headed over to a ceramics store to do a little painting. I painted a little picture frame for Soren's room.
The evening was fun and it was nice to do something out of the ordinary, but I sure did miss my family. I got home about 45 minutes before Soren went to bed so that made me happy. While I was excited about going out I didn't want to miss the whole day with him. Tomorrow is Friday and I can't wait - that means the weekend has arrived. We really don't have much planned except we are going to attempt the North Market. For those of you that are not familiar with the North Market, it is an indoor grocery/restaurant/store. It is a lot of fun, but is kind of packed on most days - it will be interesting navigating the stroller, but I have confidence that we can do it with class. Hopefully we will be able to snag some wonderfully delicious Vietnamese food (I haven't had that in about 2 years) - YUM! We might get together with some friends later in the evening, but that is about it. I am really hoping that the weather breaks so we can get some fun outdoor time in - it is just not fun to walk around when it 95 degrees outside and oh so very humid.
