Let the Good Times Roll

The work week is over and the weekend is beginning. This might be one of my favorite parts of the weekend - Friday nights and Saturday morning - they have so much potential! Tonight we had dinner at home and Soren ate great. It is always so nice to see your child eat what you put before them without a lot of fuss and use their own fork to poke their food is just a wonderful extra - I am so proud. After dinner we headed to Easton. We are not big Easton goers, but the weather was nice and we were in the mood for something different. Soren was a peach (as long as the stroller was moving that is) and we did not buy one thing except for a cookie that we all shared. We thought about just taking the samples that were set out, but that would be a little too cheap, but I have to say the thought crossed our minds, especially since all we really wanted was a little nibble of something sweet. Watch out sample lady, we will be back!

After our nightly stroll, we headed home to enjoy a nice bottle of milk (for Soren, not the parents) and an episode of Magnum P.I. I loved watching this showing as a kid. I remember watching it frequently with my dad - there was just something about the hairy chest on Tom Selleck! I think Soren was really enjoying all the action too, especially when things blew up or the helicopter was whirling the sky - such good, classic drama. Ah, the good days!

Not sure what tomorrow holds - a weekend without plans is one to be cherished. I am going to pick out some adorable fabric to make a blanket for my friend's ity bity baby boy - so sweet.

Good night.
